Flight Medical Provider™ Plus at FDIC:

We ask that students have attended either an in-person Flight Medical Provider™ course or an online version of the FMP course in the last year before attending an FMP+ course.

Can I use this for my continuing education?

Yes! Impact EMS’ courses are all CAPCE-accredited. Meaning they have been reviewed and approved by CAPCE as meeting their standards for quality and relevance to the field of EMS.

The Mechanical Ventilation for Hamilton Users course is approved for six (6) total hours of continuing education for your recertification. 

The Flight Medical Provider™ Plus course is approved for eight (8) total hours of continuing education for your recertification. 

Is the Hamilton course intended to teach me how to use a ventilator?

This course is designed to help you become a confident and capable user of the Hamilton ventilator. 

If you utilize a different ventilator in your program this course will not be beneficial to your clinical practice.

I have not attended an FMP course, can I attend?

We request that the attendees of this Flight Medical Provider™ Plus course have either taken our online or in-person FMP course within the last year.
