Operational K9s are around us daily, working jobs in Law Enforcement, Military, and Search and Rescue. Awareness of the differences in treating these K9 patients can make a difference in their outcomes. You never know when these emergency care skills will make a world of difference for an animal.
We’ve also designed this course to be fun and insightful even if you don’t work alongside a furry partner. Sometimes, you need a change of pace, and this course will have you performing mucosal assessments and palpating for veins on your animals in no time!

Five (5) modules cover an introduction to K9s, anatomy, performing assessments, other emergencies, guidelines specific to K9s, and more. You can comfortably care for or assess an operational K9 if needed.
