Do you want a better awareness of what goes into safely operating an aircraft? Does your pilot use terminology that you need help understanding? Are you aware of the things pilots are doing when flying?
In aviation, we utilize a ‘3 to go, 1 to say no’ principle. If two of those individuals have never been adequately trained and educated on why they decide to fly, you can understand why mistakes happen.
With our ACOS course, you will finally understand radio equipment, and how to read weather maps and METAR reports. You will understand the function of the gauges and equipment and how a helicopter operates.
A handful of courses meet the basic FAA requirements; why would you do the bare minimum when your safety is on the line? Let us advance your knowledge of helicopter operations, safety, and survival.
Includes ten (10) modules that cover crew responsibilities, helicopter pre-checks, flight operations, emergencies, survival, and more. Our Air Crew Operations & Survival (ACOS) course is more than just death by PowerPoint ground school; it features real situations and scenarios shown through photo and video examples.

Good class very informative.
I enrolled, attended and passed the ACOS course.
I highly recommend the ACOS course that the BLACK WOLF team did a great job presented on the IA MED website. It is amazing all the information presented in the course and the operational and survival procedures are incredibly useful for people who are committed to the Operational Safety of our Crews and the Patients we transport on our flights. I passed the course on the first try because of the instructors who have an incredible expertise of knowledge and were able to share everything in a way that made sense and above all with very clear and accurate information.
Hopefully in the future the course will be in Spanish for the Latin American areas so we can standardize the processes to create a synergy and above all an operational brotherhood.
thank you for everything Razor you are an incredible instructor, human being and more than anything a person that transmits passion for serving others.
